The Collaboration Nation event took place in London (Wednesday 10th December, sponsored by Innovate UK) last week and saw innovative technology companies pitch the outcomes of their feasibility studies to organisations that could help them get their ideas closer to market. Dr Victor Higgs (Managing Director, Applied Nanodetectors) spoke about their research study on the development of a new breath test for detecting complications with diabetic patients. This was voted the coolest technology out of 79 companies. At the end of event Dr Victor Higgs was presented with a bottle of champagne for winning the Coolest Technology of Collaboration Nation 2014. Following the exhibition he was then invited along with other companies to pitch to a group of private investors.
