We were invited by the Sensors KTN to present out latest work on bio and chemical sensors at their recent meeting in January 2008. Applied Nanodetectors is using nanotechnology to make testing for diseases like asthma as easy as breathing out.

Along with other UK Nanotechnology companies we exhibited at the UK Nanoforum in November 2007. This one-day conference and exhibition brought over 100 senior international delegates from more than 20 countries together with the best of the UK’s nanotechnology community. The event included keynote addresses, themed workshops, an exhibition showcasing more than 60 UK nanotechnology companies/universities and extensive partnering opportunities. With a focus on trade, investment and collaborations, UK NanoForum 2007 provided a networking forum for industry, academia, venture capitalists, technology purchasers and those seeking to develop joint ventures.

Applied Nanodetectors Ltd works closely with NPL find out more

We have succesfully completed a secondment at the National Physical laboratory. The work focused on using state-of the art metrology to to characterize our sensor process. This work was used to accelerate the development of our products and Intellectual Property.

Applied Nanodetectors Ltd wins prestigious award for R&D find out more

The Grant for Research and Development is a DTI business support solution delivered in the London Region by the London Development Agency. The scheme provides funding to help SMEs carry out innovative research and development. In April this year Applied Nanodetectors Ltd was awarded this grant and there was an award ceremony to present the first winners. The competition attracted 88 applications with 29 winners successfully securing funding after a competitive application process.
