There are two main types of market research, desk research the study of published information, and field research collecting specific information for the market from a targeted group of potential customers. Both areas are essential to fully assess new businesses opportunities and determine its commercial viability.This workshop is designed to help new businesses and start-ups understand the principles of market research and show them how to carry out their own research on a limited budget. By attending the workshop you can learn research techniques to help you build creditability for your new product or service and then determine its commercial potential. A case study will be used to demonstrate the principles of this approach and show how entrepreneurs can carry out their own market research and use Free online surveys for field (primary) research.

Workshop Objectives
